These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of our website and the booking of services provided by globaljourneylink ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our website or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Services

We provide private chauffeur services, airport transfers (including but not limited to Narita and Haneda airports), and private charter tours such as Mt. Fuji day trips. All vehicles used in our services are legally licensed commercial vehicles (Green Plate) operated by professional drivers in compliance with the Japanese Road Transport Law.

Bookings

All bookings must be made in advance through our website, messaging platforms, or confirmed communication channels.

A booking is considered confirmed once payment is completed and a confirmation message or receipt is issued.

Booking details (pickup time, location, passenger count, luggage quantity, destination) must be accurate. Changes may affect pricing or availability.

Pricing & Payment

Prices are quoted per booking unless otherwise stated.

Service fees include vehicle usage, professional driver, fuel, and toll charges, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Additional charges may apply for extended waiting time, additional stops, changes to itinerary, oversized luggage, or special requests.

All payments must be completed according to the payment method specified at the time of booking.

Cancellations & Changes

Cancellations or changes must be requested in advance.

Refund eligibility depends on the timing of the cancellation and the service booked.

No-shows or last-minute cancellations may not be eligible for a refund.

We reserve the right to cancel or modify a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to vehicle issues, severe weather, or force majeure events.

Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers are responsible for arriving at the pickup location on time.

Seatbelt use is mandatory under Japanese law.

Any damage to the vehicle caused by passengers may result in additional charges.

Smoking, illegal substances, or unsafe behavior inside the vehicle are strictly prohibited.

Luggage Policy

Luggage capacity depends on the vehicle type selected.

Passengers are responsible for ensuring their luggage fits within the booked vehicle.

Excess or oversized luggage may require a vehicle upgrade or additional charges.

Delays & Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or service disruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic conditions, accidents, road closures, weather conditions, flight delays, natural disasters, or government actions.

Airport pickup includes 90 minutes of free waiting time from the actual flight arrival time. Additional waiting time will be charged at [2500yen] per 30 minutes.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booked service.

We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Personal belongings left in the vehicle are the responsibility of the passenger.

Privacy

Personal information collected during booking is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

Terms of Service

Globaljourneylink acts as a booking agent for licensed local transportation companies.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
(Based on Japan Standard Time (JST).)

7 days or more before service: 100% refund.

3 to 6 days before service: 80% refund.
-
48 hours to 2 days before service: 50% refund.
-
Less than 48 hours or No-show: 0% refund.
-
[Any credit card processing fees or exchange rate differences incurred due to refunds shall be borne by the customer.]
